my home for the last 25+ years. Tucson is the blue island in a sea of conservative red. It’s an art town, a city of creative thinkers and oddballs. I’ve learned to love this odd outpost, and have found beauty in a landscape that was once absolutely foreign to me. But the years have helped my appreciation of the desert.
(except in the dog days of summer, when 100 degrees is a reasonable temperature)
